New Revived Church, Site #11 along the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Byway, hosts its annual Camp Meeting on Sunday, Aug. 6.

The Singing and Praying Band provides an opportunity for our audiences to witness the formation of band societies that were formed by John Wesley in the 18th century with the purpose of winning souls to Christ. We will continue the camp-meeting movement within the walls of the Black churches with our “Services.”

  • 10am: Morning Worship with Rev. Joan H. Brooks
  • 12pm: Singing and Praying Band
  • 1:30-3pm: Open Fellowship Hour with food for sale including chicken, oysters, cod fish, homemade cakes, ice cream, drinks and more.
  • 3:30pm: Afternoon Worship with Guest Preacher Rev. Dana Ashton, Choir and Congregation of Union Chapel A.M.E. Church.

Dress is casual all day.

ADDRESS: 4350 Smithville Road, Taylors Island, MD.
