On Sunday, March 5th from 1-4pm at RAR in Cambridge, shake those winter blues. The Dorchester Family YMCA is hosting a celebration and kick off for their Crab Run scheduled for Saturday, April 8th and the Heart of the Chesapeake Bike Tour scheduled for Saturday, July 22nd. Both events take place at the YMCA located at 201 Talbot Avenue and both local events are about living healthy, getting involved in your community and supporting the Y’s Bob Brannock Endowment Fund and Scholarship Fund.

While a local favorate, RAR has been growing in popularity beyond the Eastern Shore…not only because of their craft, but also because of their goodwill and philanthropy. Located at 504 Poplar Street in downtown Cambridge, this special RAR event offers a great time for a good cause with music by Anna Burgess, and a hot list of auction items including what the Eastern Shore is best known for… cuisine and the outdoors… bushels of crabs from Lindy’s Seafood and J.M. Clayton Company, a bushel of oysters from Hoopers Island Oyster Aquaculture Co, golf foursomes from Choptank River Golf & Events Center and River Marsh Golf Club, a kayak and much much more!

Hope to see you there!
