Are you a homeowner 55 or older with an immediate safety repair need? Applications are being accepted from August-October 2017
Eligible projects are handrails, entry steps or ramps, peeling paint, doors, cracked or broken windows, minor roof repairs, porch repairs. Priority given to homes incurring property maintenance fines. Interior safety projects include grab bars, install smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors, improved lighting.
Qualifying homeowners are 55 and older, own and live in their home, earn less than 65% of the area median income (for example $48,880 for a family of 4) and are up to date with property taxes and mortgage payments.
