Lori Nagel, Chairman

Lori Nagel is a partner in Whitten Insurance Agency LLC, with offices in Cambridge, Easton and Federalsburg.  As a licensed insurance professional, her main focus is "All Things People" for Whitten's 22 member team.   Her experience and expertise span more than 20 years in Human Resources and Operations Management.   As a lifelong Dorchester County resident, Lori has lead or participated in many charitable endeavors including Whitten Warrior's Relay for Life Team, Dorchester Santa Swim, Toy for Tots, Habitat for Humanity, to name a few.   Additionally, she is an active member of the Atlanta Road Alliance Church, where she serves as the Children's Church Leader.    

Lori currently resides locally with her husband Mark, two daughters, Kaylyn and Emma, and Yorkshire Terrier, Rocky.

Gerry Boyle, Chamber Foundation President, Chairman Elect

Gerry Boyle has been a resident of Dorchester County since 1987 after he retired from a 20 year career with the British Army. For many years, along with other family members, Gerry was owner-operator of several local restaurants including the Blue Crab and McGuigan's Pub & Restaurant. Since 2004, Gerry has been a local Realtor and is currently employed with Benson and Mangold in Cambridge. Since 1996, Gerry has been actively involved in the organization and planning of several local triathlons, including Eagleman. In 2014 Gerry accepted full time employment with World Triathlon Corporation as Race Director for IRONMAN 70.3 Eagleman and IRONMAN Maryland.

Jeff Hubbard, Immediate Past Chairman

Mr. Hubbard has more than 40 years’ experience in the Engineering and Surveying industry. He is a Registered Property Line Surveyor in Maryland and has extensive knowledge in Boundary and Topographic Surveying, Subdivision & Condominium Plats, Global Positioning Systems (GPS), Construction Stakeout, FEMA Elevation Certificates & LOMA’s, and the planning & subdivision process. Tens of Thousands of acres on Maryland’s Eastern Shore are preserved due to Jeff’s work with conservation groups and government  agencies.

Jeff has managed Public and Private sector projects in West Virginia, Virginia, Washington D.C. and throughout the State of Maryland. Jeff severs on the Board of Directors of the Maryland Society of Surveyors, representing the Eastern Shore; Jeff is also past President of the Rotary Club of Cambridge.
At Lane Engineering, LLC, Jeff is responsible for managing the survey department.

Sarah Baugh, Vice Chairman, Legal Council

Sarah Baugh is an attorney with the law firm of McAllister, DeTar, Showalker & Walker LLC, with offices in downtown Cambridge, Maryland. Sarah joined the firm in 2017. 

A Maryland native, Sarah moved to Dorchester County in 2010. Sarah graduated with honors from the University of St. Andrews in St. Andrews, Scotland in 2009 and from the University of Maryland School of Law with honors in 2012. She served as the law clerk to the Honorable Brett W. Wilson in the Circuit Court for Dorchester County from 2012-2013 and has been a member of the Dorchester County Bar Association since 2012. Sarah enjoys living in the County with her husband and son, who was born in May 2015.

Lynnell Collins, Vice Chairman, Treasurer
Vice President, Branch Manger, Shore United Bank


Lynnell serves as Branch Manager, Assistant Vice President for Cambridge Branch of Shore United Bank. She is a native of Dorchester County and has worked in community banking for over 17 years. Lynnell received an AA in Business Management from Chesapeake College, completed various courses at American Institute of Banking, and a graduate from the Maryland School of Banking.

She has developed a strong sense of devotion for her community, especially the youth. Lynnell has participated in various organizations in the community-CASA, Junior Achievements, and Thrive 25 to name a few. She is also a current active member of the Chamber participating with Membership and Ambassador Committees, and volunteering at several Chamber events.

These experiences have given her a deep appreciation of how community banking and community involvement work hand-and-hand. There is nothing more rewarding then giving back and making a difference in the lives of people in this great community.
