Jennifer Trice, Field Agent - Small Farms Program, University of Maryland Eastern Shore will be speaking at the Cambridge Woman’s Club about the agricultural-based resources and programming available through UMES via workshops, field visits and conferences. UMES programs are open to all interested in farming, gardening and environmental stewardship. Previous programs have included honey bee education, pet-assisted therapy with rabbits, harvesting and storing crop seeds, dahlia propagation and assisting underserved farmers.
