Selling is a SNAP - Farmer Vendor Sign-Up Event

If you are a farmer and interested in SNAP/EBT payments for your products, consider attending "Selling is a SNAP - Farmer Vendor Sign Up Event" between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6 at the Shore Community Engagement Center, 411 Dorchester Ave. Suite 202, Cambridge MD, 21613.
 
The event features 45-minute appointments with a USDA Food and Nutrition Service agent who will help them apply and get approved to accept SNAP/EBT payments, if eligible. It is part of a project between the University of Maryland Agriculture Law Education Initiative and the Hughes Center for Agro-Ecology that aims to increase local food availability to those relying on food subsidy programs.
