Annual Eagle Festival - Saturday, March 14, 2020
Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) is home to one of the largest breeding populations of bald eagles in the United States. Each year, Blackwater NWR holds an Eagle Festival in March to celebrate our national symbol. The festival offers a variety of activities for all members of the family, so come spend a fun day at the Refuge learning about bald eagles and spotting them in the wild.

Entrance to the Refuge and all events are free, including our popular Eagle Prowl. Note that the festival will be held rain or shine. If you need directions to Blackwater NWR, visit our Frequently Asked Questions.
