Kathy Bennett is a vice president for the commercial lines department. She joined Avery Hall in 1995 and works out of the Salisbury office. Kathy started at Avery Hall as a commercial lines account manager. In 2005, she was promoted to commercial account executive and then started her new position in 2011. As an account executive, she works with business owners to identify their insurance needs. Kathy earned the designations of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Risk Manager and has attended the USF&G Commercial Lines School.
She is very involved with area non-profits.
Kathy was raised in Willards, MD and currently resides in Salisbury. In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym five to six days a week (a self-proclaimed “gym rat” who thinks everyone has time to exercise daily!). Kathy is also an avid reader.
Thomas “Tom” Bole is an Account Executive at Avery Hall Insurance in our Salisbury office. Tom joined our team in January of 2021 and will be assisting team members in all of our offices across Delmarva. He has always been passionate about helping others. Tom loves getting to carry that over into his professional life by assisting people in finding the right coverage at the right price.
Tom has a strong background in finances. He has earned a Bachelor’s in Economics and a Master’s in Business Administration. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. Before joining Avery Hall, Tom owned his own agency in Ellicott City, MD, where he provided Comprehensive Personal Protection.
Karen Bromley is the Chief Operations Officer for Avery W. Hall Insurance. She joined the agency in 2016 and works out of the Salisbury office. Karen supervises the Information Technology, Marketing, Accounting, and Human Resources departments. She works to ensure all elements of the agency’s advertising and marketing plan are creative and impactful. She also makes sure that our agency keeps moving forward on its quest to become a digital agency that can serve the needs of all clients. Karen’s specialty is promoting the Avery Hall brand, and she enjoys being creative in the pursuit of finding lifelong Avery Hall clients.
Before Avery Hall, Karen was a Sales Representative in wholesale distribution for over ten years and worked several years in retail and restaurant management.
Theresa (Terri) Charest is an account executive for Benefit Solutions at the Easton office. She began as an account manager for Avery Hall in 2014 and was promoted to account executive in early 2017. Terri specializes in selling group employee benefits and works with employers to find plans that benefit both the employee and the employer.
Prior to Avery Hall, Terri worked as a customer service representative for an insurance agency and as an office manager in a local construction company. She has also worked as a substitute teacher in Talbot County, MD and has had a prior career as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Of Terri’s previous jobs, she is most proud to list “stay-at-home mom” as her most important previous work experience!
She is married to her husband Rob and they have two daughters and three dogs. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, and taking road trips.
Marissa Clark is an account executive of Avery Hall Benefit Solutions. She joined our team at the Easton office in 2016. Marissa dedicates herself to staying current with the changes in health insurance to provide clients with the utmost support consistently.
Having grown up in Pennsylvania, she is a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan. Marissa and her husband, Tony, moved to Maryland in 2016 to be closer to family. They’ve enjoyed raising their family here so far! Especially since they love swimming and any place there is sun and sand.
In her free time, she loves spending quality time with her family, enjoying cookouts when the weather is nice, and reading when she gets the chance. Interesting fact, she studied Spanish for seven years!
Maureen Cody is an account executive for the commercial lines department and also provides services to personal insurance lines. She joined Avery Hall in 2009 as an account manager with more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry and was promoted to her current position in 2013. Maureen works out of the Salisbury office. She specializes in working with business owners to determine their insurance needs.
She is involved in the community, Relay for Life, a volunteer for Hope and Life Outreach (HALO), and the Furnace Town Foundation.
Joseph Gast, CPCU, ChFC, is the president of Avery W. Hall Insurance Agency, Inc. and works out of the Salisbury office. He has been with the agency since 1984 and accepted his current position in 2013. He is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
Joe is president of the board of the Recovery Resource Center in Salisbury. He was chairman of the inaugural 2018 National Folk Festival fundraising committee. He is currently a member of the following organizations: Greater Salisbury Committee, the Nanticoke Rotary Club in Seaford, and the Knights of Columbus in Salisbury. Joe is a 33-year member of the YMCA since and sits on the YMCA of the Chesapeake finance committee.
Brandy Guy is an account executive with Avery Hall Benefit Solutions. She joined our team at the Easton office in 2019, with six years of industry experience under her belt. Brandy specializes in working individuals and their families to help navigate the ever-changing world of Medicare, individual medical, dental, vision, life and long-term care.
Personally, Brandy has been a volunteer for CASA of the Mid-Shore since 2017. She is passionate about staying involved in her community.
Kendrick Hayward is a Commercial Lines Account Executive with Avery Hall Insurance Group. We welcomed him to our Salisbury team in December of 2020. Kendrick currently has licenses in Life, Health, and Property and Casualty Insurance. He is always looking for ways to educate himself on the changing world of insurance, and has earned his Certified Authority on Workers Compensation (CAWC) designation.
Kendrick takes great pride in his work. His goal is to help educate the community and create peace of mind in knowing they are protected. Kendrick displays his commitment to achieving his goals by exhibiting a high level of service and knowledge to his clients. Pursuing a career in insurance is also an excellent opportunity for Kendrick to share his passion for financial literacy.
Brandon Hearne is a Commercial Lines Account Executive for Avery Hall at our Salisbury office. He started at his position in November of 2019.
Brandon has completed his training at the Hartford School of Insurance and has earned his CLCS (commercial lines coverage specialist) designation.
In his free time, Brandon enjoys boating, fishing, going to the beach, and woodworking with his father. His favorite charities are the Alzheimer’s Association and the Wounded Warrior Project, and he has also volunteered his time to coach Little League and travel baseball for the youth in his community. He believes strongly in treating others with the utmost respect, and in maintaining strong relationships with friends and family.
He and his wife Madison have been married for two years and love spending time with their two golden retrievers, as well as being Uncle and Aunt to their nephew.
Alex Hupke is an account executive for Avery Hall Benefit Solutions and works out of the Salisbury office. Alex started with Avery Hall in June of 2022 and specializes in helping local small businesses find and maintain the right group benefits plan for their employees.
Alex was born and raised in Salisbury, Maryland, and graduated from Salisbury University with a degree in Business Administration. Prior to joining the insurance industry, Alex worked in mortgage sales for several years. Her experience in a service position helps her be an excellent communicator with her insurance clients.
Alex is passionate about helping those in need. Some of her favorite non-profits to support are Feeding America, Feed the Children, Make-A-Wish, and the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
Tracy K. Jones is an account executive for Avery Hall Benefit Solutions in our Salisbury office. Tracy joined the Avery Hall team in 2021. She specializes in working with individuals and businesses to find the best health coverage for their needs.
Tracy grew up in Berlin, MD, and graduated from Stephen Decatur High School. She attended Wor-Wic Community College and received a Child Development Certification. After completing her education, she worked in the childcare field for 25 years. Tracy owned and operated a Nationally Accredited Family Childcare Center in her home, where she could teach and help children grow, while still being a stay-at-home mom to her two sons.
Dakota Kellermeyer is an account executive for Avery Hall Benefit Solutions in our Easton office. Dakota joined Avery Hall as an intern in the summer of 2020 before becoming a part-time team member. Later in 2020, he earned a promotion to his current position after his graduation.
Dakota focuses on working with businesses to establish group employee benefits packages that meet both the needs of their organization and the needs of their staff.
Dakota was born and raised in Caroline County and attended Salisbury University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a minor in Professional Sales. During his time with Avery Hall, he has earned his Life and Health Licenses in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Texas.
Steve Mason is an account executive for our Benefit Solutions team at the Salisbury office. He joined Avery Hall in June of 2021. Steve specializes in working with individuals and families to help them find the best individual medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term care coverage. He also has his Certification in Long-Term Care (CLTC) designation, which focuses on the discipline of extended care planning.
Steve was born and raised in Boonsboro, MD, and came to the Eastern Shore in 1987 to attend Salisbury University. He completed his education with a Bachelor’s Degree from Salisbury. Steve is a veteran and served in the Maryland Army National Guard before joining the insurance industry as a Commercial Underwriter and Casualty Representative prior to Avery Hall.
Mary Mengason is the vice president of Avery Hall Benefit Solutions and is a managing partner of the AHBS office in Salisbury. Her career with Avery Hall began in 1995 as an account executive, and she was later promoted to her current position in 2005, becoming a partner in 2007. Mary’s specialty is designing benefit packages that enable employers to attract an extraordinary workforce. Her customers include businesses of all sizes, from small family businesses to large multi-state companies.
She enjoys selling employee benefits packages because she understands how challenging it is for businesses to be competitive. Today’s employees are not only looking at salaries but want to understand their overall benefits package. For employers, Mary and her team attempt to alleviate the stress of employee benefits, frequently working as an “HR department” for their customers.
Lacy is a commercial lines account executive from our Seaford office. She joined the Avery Hall team as a payment processor in 2009. She performed multiple roles in the personal lines and commercial lines departments before the promotion to her current position.
As a commercial lines account executive, Lacy gets to do one of her favorite things: help people. She prides herself on providing the best customer service possible. Lacy treats her clients like family and works hard to ensure their families and assets have the protection they need. She is formally an Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR) and has her AINS (Associates in General Insurance) designation.
Alyssa Sinagra is a senior account executive for our Benefit Solutions team at the Salisbury office. She joined Avery Hall in 2006 as a customer service representative, was later promoted to account executive, and in 2016 was promoted to her current position.
Her specialty is working with individuals and families, helping them find the best plan that fits their medical, dental, vision, life, annuity, and long-term care insurance needs. Alyssa also works closely with Medicare beneficiaries helping them analyze and choose the best Medicare Supplement and Medicare Part D prescription plans. Her favorite part about her job is when she can help individuals decide whether they can afford to retire. Their medical insurance plays a crucial role in deciding to retire, and when a person realizes they can retire after working their whole life, it is very rewarding for her. She enjoys the educational seminars she offers to both the public and privately.
Angela (Angie) Strouth, is the vice president for the personal lines department as well as a personal lines manager based out of the Salisbury office. Her journey with Avery Hall began in 1998 as a customer service representative but has been in her current positions since 2011.
Her primary focus is working closely with the personal lines team to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Her long-lasting partnerships she develops with personal lines carriers dramatically benefit our clients. Angie also fulfills additional roles at Avery Hall, including sitting on the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors.
Tim Wisniewski, CIC, CRM, CISR is an assistant vice president and an account executive. He has been with Avery Hall since 1999 and is based out of the Salisbury office. His focus is working with clients to identify coverage gaps and provide solutions to protect them.
Tim has earned the designations of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR), and Certified Authority in Workers Compensation (CAWC). Additionally, he is a past board member with Associated Builders and Contractors.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Alicia, and their two children. Tim also enjoys watching professional soccer and football.
