SALISBURY — TidalHealth is pleased to welcome Maxine Cruz-am, CRNP, FNP-C, to TidalHealth Cardiology in Salisbury, Md.
Cruz-am received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Stevenson University in Owings Mills, Md., and her Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
A certified family nurse practitioner, she worked at the University of Maryland Cardiac Progressive Unit for seven years. She has been a cardiac nurse practitioner for three years, specializing in electrophysiology.
Cruz-am specializes in electrophysiology in the outpatient setting. She has been involved with research studies and has taught nursing at the university level.
When she is not seeing patients, she enjoys taking barre classes or having a beach day to decompress. A Maryland native, Cruz-am is an Orioles and Ravens fan, and she loves crab feasts.
