Salisbury, MD — Maryland Capital Enterprises (MCE) announces the opening of nominations for the 2024 Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. This prestigious event celebrates the outstanding achievements and dedication of local entrepreneurs who contribute significantly to the economy and community on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

We invite you to nominate one or more deserving entrepreneurs who exemplify innovation, leadership, and a commitment to growth. Self-nominations are also welcome! In addition to the Entrepreneur of the Year Award, nominees will be eligible for the Innovator and Workforce Development Awards.

Award Eligibility Criteria:
• Must be a small business owner or majority partner actively involved in daily business operations.
• The business must be located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
• Have 100 employees or fewer.
• Established locally for at least two years.
• Must be a for-profit business in good standing with the State of Maryland.
