SALISBURY, MD — Maryland Capital Enterprises (MCE), in collaboration with the Somerville Consulting Group, proudly announces the inaugural Shore and Soar Pitch Competition, created to empower and reward Maryland-based businesses that are on a strong growth trajectory.
This exciting new initiative will award two full sets of cash prizes—one for each location—offering $5,000 for first place, $3,000 for second, and $1,000 for third in both Baltimore and on the Eastern Shore. The competition is designed for entrepreneurs whose businesses are actively growing their customer base, increasing market share, scaling operations, and maintaining profitability.
To help interested business owners prepare, two informational open houses will be held:
• April 16, 2025 | 6:00–8:00 PM MCE at The Cube, 4709 Harford Road, Baltimore, MD 21214
• May 15, 2025 | 6:00–8:00 PM The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore, 1324 Belmont Ave, Suite 401, Salisbury, MD 21804
