TidalHealth to hold Diabetes Support Group on Oct.14

SALISBURY – TidalHealth Nutrition & Diabetes Education will hold a Diabetes Support Group from 6 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 14 in Hallowell Conference Room A at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional located at 100 E. Carroll St., Salisbury, MD 21801.

 Attendees should enter through the Frank B. Hanna lobby (adjacent to the Emergency Department) of the Salisbury hospital and check in at the front desk before heading down to the Hallowell Conference Center on the ground floor.

 This month’s presentation will feature guest speaker Shekinah Mast, AuD, CC-A, Doctor of Audiology, who will speak on the topic of hearing loss and diabetes. While they might seem like unlikely companions at first, there are indeed some intriguing links between diabetes and hearing health.
