Going Purple Together

Join your neighbors and community at the second annual Mid-Shore Going Purple Together gathering in Idlewild Park on Friday, September 24. Enjoy a live DJ, virtual reality, a teen-created hip-hop time capsule, local African American history exhibit, Zumba, an art show and so much more as we celebrate Go Purple and Recovery Month in the mid-shore. A Peer Support Specialist ceremony will honor local heroes who have overcome their substance use addiction and are now helping others through their journey to sobriety. Learn about local resources to help those struggling with substance use, and outdoor dine with some tasty food truck offerings, including Amy Cool's Ice Cream Express and So Coast.
