Warwick Riverfest & Raft Races

East New Market VFD & Secretary VFC, along with support from the Town of Secretary have teamed up to bring back the Warwick Riverfest & Raft Races 2.0! This event was put on for years by the Jaycees!
Spread the word and tell all your friends and family!! Start planning and building those rafts to race on Sunday, September 3rd. 

Rules for Rafts:

1. Rafts must be homemade.
2. Crew size minimum of FOUR
3. All crew members must wear at all times a U.S. Coast Guard approved life vest.
4. Propulsion may be paddles or oars (you may use oar locks) or moveable paddles.
5. NO FIXED RUDDERS OR KEEL
6. Please Mount a towing hitch.
7. Captain is responsible for crew members' safety and craft seaworthiness.

John Boat Docking will be from 11am-1pm
Raft Races from 3pm - until
**SAVE THE DATE!!!**
Friday, August 25th from 6-9 pm will be registration night/Raft Inspections.
There  will also be a shrimp dinner, so make sure to grab a dinner as well (a lb. of steamed shrimp and French fries for just $14!!) There will be music, Plinko and more!
