Firecracker Kid's Triathlon: Spark Your July 4th in Cambridge, MD!

Honoring the legacy of former Ironman Race Director Gerry Boyle, this year marks the 12th anniversary of the triathlon. Starting at 8:00 am on July 4th at 201 Talbot Avenue, Cambridge, MD. Young athletes aged 6 to 15 will swim, bike, and run their way through age-appropriate courses. The swim takes place inside the YMCA, while the biking and running events wind through the nearby residential neighborhood with support from the Cambridge Police Department and CMS members.

Entry to this USAT (USA Triathlon) sanctioned event is $30 per child, plus a mandatory $10 fee for USAT’s one-day membership.

All proceeds support CMS’s High School Scholarship fund, which awards four scholarships annually to students from Cambridge-South and Cambridge-North Dorchester High Schools who excel academically and compete in cross country, swimming, or track and field. This year's winners are:
