Did you know that walking is our official State exercise? The Dorchester County Health Department is hosting two Walktober events. Details for these organized walks are below. Walk Maryland Day 2024Wednesday, October 2nd, 11am at the Hyatt The Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay in Cambridge has a beautiful one-mile trail that we will begin walking at promptly 11am. Friday, June 14, 20242024 Dorchester Chamber Foundation Scholars Announced
The Board of Directors of the Dorchester Chamber Foundation are excited to present the 2024 Foundation Scholars. We awarded $31,000 to 10 students this year. We can offer these awards based on generous grants received from the George B. Todd Fund of the Mid-Shore Community Foundation, Koski Enterprises, The Nagel Family, and Care & Share Fund of Dorchester. We also received great support from the community in the form of direct donations to the scholarship fund and support for the fund-raising activities
